I have to admit that the navigation takes some getting used to. I really wish it didn't have a "learning curve", but I really like it otherwise, and once you know what's going on, it's intuitive. The web designer in me is shaking his head, but oh well. It's a seniors site... it's supposed to be slick, hip, and modern. It's a trade-off.
It always starts out by default because that's where the description is. If you click on the info "i" for the tab you're actually on, you'll see it turns into an "x" which closes the bar without having to go to the thumbnails.
how do i get your black sidebar to not come out across half the photo? i have to click on the "thumbs" tab and then on the photo thumbnail, and then it stays away.
