Let’s cut to the chase: It was gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. And it was a celebration of two awesome people, populated by an incredibly support group of friends and family that, most importantly, knew how to party. Isn’t that all you can ask for? We always say that there are two measures for success on the wedding day.

1. Did you get married?
2. Was the dance floor packed when it was time to go home?

Check and check. The latter point was helped considerably by possibly the best party band I’ve ever, ever, ever witnessed… ever. But the former? Well, that’s just love.

Mr. & Mrs. Kissel, we are so unbelievably happy for you two and are still ecstatic that your mother found us and “didn’t give you a choice.” And again, sorry we’re taking forever. You know how planning a wedding is. We wish you two all the best.

Spring arrived at last! We’re over a month late starting our normal photography season due to the lies of that little groundhog this year. But what a way to kick it off!

There is something absolutely magical about photographing a family in the natural environment of their home. There’s a sense of comfort right away. We absolutely love and even advocate family sessions at home, and what a home we were lucky to be in for just a short time. When you walk into the Ford’s house you feel an instant sense of warmth and family. Ashley’s clear sense of style and love for her two men radiates from the decor all the way to how they interact with each other. The little man, Crew, definently directed the shoot. He is a headstrong little boy who will either be an actor or a basketball star. The jury is still out on that… although his slam dunks do speak for themselves! We had fun capturing this fabulous bunch and it was a little icing on the cake to surprise the little man with some gorgeous teal balloons along the way. Enjoy!
