No matter what, everything always comes together. From meeting Chloe nearly 20 years ago at a concert, staying in touch all this time, and then coming together for the elopement-that-kinda-sorta-wasn’t at the last minute: a tale as old as time.
I hadn’t shot at Friendship Gardens Park in Plainfield in many, many years so it was quite the pleasant surprise to end up back here again on this beautifully overcast day for a quick little “backyard wedding” full of magic and emotions. Aside from gettin’ hitched, what was most important to these two were Chloe’s first look with her father, all sorts of family and friend photos, and then a little one-on-two couples time… and if you know Friendship Gardens, you know that fountain that is a rite of passage to have your picture taken with. Let’s just say getting a long-exposure handheld in the middle of the day wasn’t as easy as it looked!
But as these two continue their journey together past the second star to the left, and straight on till morning, I couldn’t be more happy for them and wish them a truly happily ever after.
