Rain, rain, go away…

…or don’t. It doesn’t matter. You can’t stop this love. Besides, it’s luck. All the luck. Not that these two need it.

I was connected with Lindsey and Joe through our extremely good mutual friend Alexis — I shot her brutally cold wedding several years ago (glad her and Ben brought the heat tho) — and the rest is history. I would say Alexis’s moving, touching speech was the highlight of the night, but it’s hard to top the singing duet that went on before.

Despite the wetness, it really was just a beautiful day with beautiful people and love gratuitously oozing in the air. Aside from those speeches, you’ve got that little adorable ring bearer in his remote control car, killer lighting at a stunning venue, Albanese gummy bears, pizza (oh the pizza), a popping dance floor, and two amazing people committing themselves to each other forever completely surrounded by friends and family.
