…then boy oh boy is The Sanctuary on Penn the venue for you. I’ve shot downtown a thousand times for a thousand different things, and at equally as many churches, but I think the real move is taking an old church and converting it into something that combines some of that old world charm with something modern that just works. And I would expect absolutely nothing less cool from the likes of Lynna and Chad.
It’s been a true adventure wading through the pandemic waters with this family. While it felt like an eternity from when we first started talking, through their incredible engagement session (which I will definitely need to be blogging this winter when I catch up), and through doing their daughter’s senior pictures this past fall (which I will also be blogging when I catch up 😂)… we finally arrived at the big event, and the wait was definitely worth it. Everything clicked from amazing weather and light, to the great food and drinks. The string trio was a killer touch that really tied the stained glass and hardwood together.
And then there’s those two. The energy and the love was and is palpable — oozing in every photo and every interaction. And that dress. And that hair. Girl. C’mon. Ridiculous. I know you’re supposed to make the rest of us look bad, but little league rules should apply and when you’re THAT far ahead, you really should quit.
It means so much that I have been able to be a part of so many wonderful moments already with these amazing humans, and here’s to hopefully some more. 🍻
